Founded in 1992, the Lebanese Association for Energy Saving and for Environment (ALMEE) is a non-political, non-profit organization established in response to the growing need for structured action in the fields of energy and the environment in Lebanon. From its early beginnings, ALMEE positioned itself as an independent platform bringing together expertise, dialogue, and cooperation.

Over time, the organization expanded its scope and geographical reach, developing a strong presence at national, regional, and international levels.
