OVERVIEW
About the Project
CLEANERTEC aims to enhance the use of green and renewable energies in Lebanon through pilot and demonstrative projects, policy development, and legislative and regulatory frameworks. The project builds the capacities of key actors at the public administrative level and raises awareness among the local population, with a focus on the Baalbek region. COSV has operated in Lebanon since 2006, primarily in solid waste management.
Project Objectives
Promote clean and environmentally friendly energy technologies in Lebanon. Implement pilot and demonstrative renewable energy projects. Develop policies, legislative, and regulatory frameworks for clean energy. Build capacities of public administration actors. Raise awareness among local population on renewable energy.
