About the Project

MeetMED aims to enhance the energy security of beneficiary countries while fostering their transition to a low-carbon economy. Following the success of its first phase (2018–2020), MeetMED II contributes to the creation of more stable, efficient, competitive, and climate-resilient socioeconomic contexts in the targeted countries. The project strengthens the implementation of energy efficiency measures and improves countries’ energy mix, focusing on the buildings and appliances sectors through a multiscale, multipartner, and inclusive approach at local and regional levels, thereby fostering regional cooperation.
